A nationwide neighborhood-based community service building (through volunteering) and self help food distribution program. It is not government funded nor is it a poverty program.
Community Centers, Churches, Granges, and other volunteer groups serve as neighborhood Host Sites which register participants, distribute food and assist in coordination of community services when necessary.
Pay $15 (Vegetarian), $14 (Regular), $8 (Mini)
and/or $7 (Meat only) in cash or food stamps for each food
package (worth at least TWICE what you pay).
Purchase any number/combination of packages you choose. There is
a$0.25 surcharge per package. There is no surcharge for Meat only
Packages
Register
once a month on any of the 3 available dates.
Volunteer
2 hours for each food package purchased.
There
is no extra volunteer time required for the meat only package.
