Camp 38 John W Spaulding, Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War is looking for members who have an interest in the Civil War.

The Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War is a patriotic society, whose members are direct descendants, either through paternal or maternal lines, of Soldiers, Sailors or Marines who served during the War of Rebellion, 1861--1865. Associates, (those without direct descendancy from Union Veterans) who hold to the principles and support the objects of the organization are also admitted.

The principle objects of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War include honoring the memory of the Civil war and the proper observance of Memorial Day.
